Biography on Erykah Badu

Miss Badu, also known as the mother of soul music A rapper Lyricist/songwriter since 1997 with when she released her debut album, Bazoom, which sold millions, and One her Grammy people are all used to call her genre of music Neo soul but now people get rid of the Neo and just call it soul music
However, Erykah Badu started as a major in dance and the In Grambling State University in Louisiana however, dropped out in 1993 to pursue her singing career,which was started as a group with her cousin. and in 1995, she got an opportunity from a record company as she dropped out of the group to, as she thought she would receive more individual attention as a solo artist. and in 1997, she did her first ever single, which we all know today as “on and on”, and it became a quick hit and the next month she released her first ever album where she actually wrote all of her songs, except for one. And there was talent from when she first started as her first ever album becams the top one in the billboards and actually won her a Grammy as best R&B album, as well her first ever song “on and on” got the award for best female R&B vocal performance. Thankfully Miss Badu did not stop there as she followed up with another album “Mama’s Gun” that reached top five in the charts in the 2000s. And then in 2003, she marked an EP (even though it was 50 minutes long called)“worldwide underground”. Her last three albums was one in 2008 called New Amerykah part one and then the part two in 2010, making her last song into her last mixtape in 2015, “But You Caint Use My Phone”which was a song about phones and communication.
